📍 We Are Hiring
We are looking for a Logistics Operations Supervisor for our site in Heudebouville (27), with a medium-term opportunity to grow into the position of Logistics Operations Manager.
🎯 Your Mission
Reporting to the Site Manager and following their instructions, your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing and supervising the logistics operations team to achieve objectives set by the management (current team: 4 to 8 people).
- Adhering to and enforcing procedures and instructions in place.
- Optimizing material resources (ensuring maintenance schedules for handling equipment, infrastructure, and tools are followed, and confirming their proper functionality).
- Ensuring organization, optimization, cleanliness, and proper storage of stock in compliance with clients’ logistics requirements.
- Taking necessary measures to prevent disputes.
- Acting as the primary contact for clients (proficiency in professional English is mandatory).
- Providing regular reporting.
🌟 Your Profile
Technical Skills:
- Certified forklift operator with mandatory CACES 1, 3, 5 certifications.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory.
- Ideally, hold a Bac +2/+3 in logistics.
- Proven experience of at least 3 years in team management, preferably in food storage activities.
- Knowledge of goods reception and shipping procedures.
- Familiarity with stock management software (WMS).
- Solid understanding of warehouse safety regulations.
Soft Skills:
- Hands-on and team-oriented leader with strong management skills.
- Rigorous, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Effective communicator with the ability to follow and provide clear instructions.
- Proactive with a knack for suggesting process improvements.
- Awareness of hygiene, food safety, and ISO standards.
ℹ️ Additional Details
- Contract Type: Permanent (CDI), available immediately.
- Working Hours: 151.67 hours/month – 35 hours/week.
- Schedule: Day shifts, with potential evolution to a 2×8 shift schedule depending on seasonal demand.
- Weekend Work: Possible on Saturdays.
- Status: Supervisor level.
